Campaign for Maryland is a federal leadership committee chaired by Congressman Wayne Gilchrest which raises funds for important Republican causes. In the past 5 years, this committee has contributed more than $42,000 to support grassroots Republican efforts. This fund, which accepts contributions from individuals, candidate committees and federal political action committees, was specifically set up to assure that any funds raised, especially those from other political action committees, were kept strictly separate from Congressman Gilchrest's own re-election campaign.
